Royal County Down
Royal County Down is set in an area of remarkable beauty – ‘where the Mountains of Mourne sweep down to the sea’. The numerous bunkers, the many blind tee shots and several partially obscured approach shots make this course a formidable challenge. Royal Co. Down is ranked in the world’s top ten golf courses. This course played host to the British Senior Open in recent times and hosted the very prestigious Walker Cup in 2007.This course played host to the British Senior Open in recent times and hosted the very prestigious Walker Cup in 2007.
